Answer Question
Whitetail deer
Who has bow hunted in a canoe before? (Charlie Elk?) My question is who shoots and who steers? Or does it matter when going doing a straight part? Im not sure if there should be three people, with bow and middle shooting or is two people good enough?

Answer Question

I am new to bowhunting and i am in the market for a new bow. Most of the bows I really like go up to a 30" draw. My draw length is 30.5 - 31. Is it possible to get another 1/2in to an inch of draw out of these bows?

Answer Question

I've got a Bear Grizzly that pulls 50#. In a previous answer someone recommended carbon arrows for a 40# recurve. I have always used Easton aluminum arrows and never considered carbon and I will tell you why. You have much lower arrow speed with a traditional bow and my feeling is you have to make up for that with additional arrow weight to get adequate penetration compared to a compound bow. What's your opinion? And why?

Answer Question
Gear & Accessories
I really wanted to put away the compound for a while and get into traditional style bowhunting and for Christmas I recieved an older Ben Pearson Javelina recurve. I think it'll work fine as just a starter, but my only concern is that it only has 40lb limbs. I dont know much about recurves so i'm not sure if that would be enough weight where i could cleanly take an animal. I know for compounds that would be enough but i'm just not sure about recurves. Can anyone clarify?

This is a question for bowhunters. Have anyone ever shot flu flu arrows thru a whisker biscuit? does it work or eventually destroy the arrow fetching?
