In South Dakota if you hit a game animal with your vehicle you can get a tag to take it home with you, but, I believe they need to just allow people to take the animal without going through the process of obtaining that tag. Whats it like in your state?

i live in northwest wi i want to go out west this year to hunt mulies, antelope or whitetails. But i have no idea where to go. my father is also going we are more interested in the hunt than the size of the rack. We just want to see some animals and enjoy the land and time together. So if you could point us in the right direction it would very helpful.
