Clay shooting
So I am trying to learn to shoot with both eyes open. I shoot left handed and have always closed my right eye when a shooting rifle of shotgun. When ever I look down a shotgun barrel I see two beads. I think I may be co eye dominant. Any suggestions on how to shoot with both eyes open?

I see that both Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever got invited to the White House to be part of Biden's Gun Control discussion. I really hope that they decide to stay out of this discussion. Why I was just reading an old Brady press release calling semi-auto shotguns "assault weapons". I think that you guys are going to be next if they successfully ban semi-automatic rifles and gut the 2nd Admendment: http://blog.bradycampaign.org/2008/07/knoxville-church-shooter-used-remington-model-48-12-gauge-semi-automatic-shotgun-video/ Knoxville Church Shooter Used Remington Model 48 12-Gauge Semi-Automatic Shotgun (Video)-- Brady C blog.bradycampaign.org As the nation's largest national, non-partisan, grassroots organization leading the fight to prevent gun violence, the Brady Campaign and the Brady Center are dedicated to creating an America free from gun violence, where all Americans are safe at home, at school, at work, and in their communities. Do you believe the gun-grabbers when they say they are not after our hunting rifles and shotguns?

Answer Question
Semi-autos
Like I posted before I was at gander mountain but while I was there I also looked at a few shotguns. Those were the berretta a3000 or 300 outlander, the bennelli nova and supernova and the winchester sx3. I didn't hold the nova or the supernova just because my dad was kinda in a hurry to get out a there. I have held the supernova but it felt like the length of pull was a little long. Also the vent rib was a little high but that was last year and I have grown a lot so Mabey it will fit me better. The a3000 outlander seemed like a decent gun but with the price tag of I think five hundred it was tough to beat. It was a little heavy and the composite stock was a little cheapy. The sx3 Wow it felt very nice with the dura touch instead of the traditional checkering never really cared for it on synthetics. So i am having to decide between a shotgun or a rifle also if you have othe suggestions on shotguns perferably semiauto 12 ga please post. I am thirteen and deciding over a 30-06 or a 12ga. The shotgun would be used more ( pheasent . Duck/ goose, and lastly deer.) the rifle would be for mostly coyote but if I ever go up to one of my friends cabins I would use it for deer or if I ever go like elk or some other big game hunting. If I get the rifle I can always use my dads 1100 or wingmaster &870 both Remington's. But if I get the shotgun if I have to shoot a coyote I would have to use my dads browning a-bolt or my .22 lr the other reason. I'm leaning towards getting the rifle first is because coyote season is comming up soon well it's year round but when you see them the most Is soon while shotgunning seasons are almost over. Thanks.

Answer Question
Semi-autos
I know I've been asking questions about rifles but when I was up at the gun store they had an old benelli montefeltro for 400 or 500 bucks! it seemed to be in nice condition. it also has the armi system in it. I also saw a Winchester sx2 which looked like it was in perfect condition for around $600 ( matte black). or should I go for one of there Remington 1100's they have for around 350-400 bucks. I need a shotgun more than a rifle ( my 870 express 20ga is a youth and to small.) still I want a 12ga preferably a semi auto because I waterfowl and pheasant hunt. also do they make rifled barrels for the montefelro? if they don't then I cant get it because I deer hunt with slugs on my property.

Answer Question
Semi-autos
I’m thinking of upgrading from a pump action to a semi-automatic shotgun. I would like to keep it under $700 (not sure how realistic that is) but would consider up to $1000 for a good, never fail gun. What does everyone shoot and how do you like it? I’ve also considered looking at some gun shops in my area to see if I can find a higher end used gun at a decent price. I’m a big fan of Remington but I’m sure there are other great models out there. Thanks for the input!

Answer Question

Does anyone have any experience with a Franchi Model 720 20 gauge semi auto shotgun? I know it was discontinued and replaced with the new Affinity line of shotguns, but I've heard quite a bit of good things about the 720. Interestingly, my local dealer has one of the wood model 720's in stock, but has it priced higher than the new Affinity model. Thank you.
