Q:
early spring fishing here in KENTUCKY can bring some unexpected results/this past weekend i was fishing a large impoundment when my pole was nearly jerked from my hands after lots of splashing it dived once it neared the bank and got the line wrapped around opposite of tree. A S i went around to get closer i heard scratching as it ran up the cedar tree,as i looked up the tree it suddenly just flew away. any ideas what it could have been?

That is brilliant.
what kind of bait where you using?
fish/sqirrel/bird i have got to see this thing
LOL I generally use roadkill squrriels reeling them in fast as possible but on this day i was using a young ground hog .After reading about the fish that was found with a cell phone i couldn't resist,be wary of fish stories , especially if the feller doin the telling is from KENTUCKY . GOTCHA
hahahaha ive heard even stranger tales before as they say the fish gets a foot bigger every time you tell the story
