The answer is in the dec/jan issue of ol on page 25...These are the steps...mix a box of gerbers multigrain baby cerealwith 4 ounces of honey and 4 ounces of glycerin, not the poisonous woodrose type. a tablespoon of brewers yeast is optional. Blend the ingredients to produce a crumbly/sticky texture. Put this bedding/feed into a glass jar that has a tight lid. punch several holes in the lidand cover it with fine mesh screening. add some crumpled balls of wax paper to the jar. put in your wax worms. keep them at room temperature and soon theyll make cocoons , stay in them for a couple of weeks and then hatchas adult moths. the moths will mate lay eggs in the wax paper folds and die. baby worms will hatch in a couple weeks. once they grow to half the size you want, put them in a seperate jar with a little of the bedding/feed and store them at aproximately 60 degrees until they reach your desired size.. or you could buy a worm farm at wormman.com .. this article/answer was originaly written by Jerry Gibbs in outdoor life magazine.
