Bacon works, the "best" is a can of tuna with some holes poked in the can to release "scent".
canned catfood works great, so does fish guts
the best thing you can use is dead minnows it never fails
i use flour and a choped up raw hot dog
any type of meat should work. raw hot dogs or canned tuna with the lid slightly opened should get'em
