Hey Big O, I checked on the internet and apparently
its 78lbs 8oz. Hope it helps.
It looks like the record that Paul is talking about is the all tackle world record.
I couldn't get anything for the fly fishing record. I tried to check the International Game Fish Association site but you have to be a member.
Did you catch a huge striper on fly rod? or are you just curious?
Step-dad catches them here in Ark. with a bream(2in) as a fly.
He's using a 6wt. rod and a 30lb tippet.
We've been out twice and the largest one was caught last night 21 lbs.
I wish you guys could see this, it's AMAZING ! ! ! !
