Q:
I'm looking for a pair of warm weathered hiking/hunting boots for this summer. I have a budget of about $130. I was wondering if you have any suggestions?

It all depends on personal choice. I have been wearing Danners for a few years now and love them. I would definitely go with some type of Goretex shoe. I also know that when it comes to boots do not skimp out, it is important to have warm dry comfortable feet. I would try a few different pairs on
Take a look at the LL Bean Cresta Hikers! They're great boots....I use them for elk hunting and they've held up pretty good!
Sorry forgot to add....try sock liners under your regular hiking socks....they really help to keep your feet dry and comfortable...reduces chances of blisters as well!
Thanks guys I'll look at those.
Hey do you know what store would have those kind of boots? I have had bad luck ordering shoes off the internet.
L.L. Bean Cresta Hikers are exclusive to L.L. Bean. Also the Cresta's are a bit above your budget at $179. I have had luck with Merrell, Columbia, and Danner. Also I highly suggest Gore-Tex it is waterproof and breathable.
Wolverine and Irish Setter both make good boots, should be a store near you.
