Q:
Any suggestions on a gun with interchangeable barrels? I'm thinking about the CVA Apex. What about suggestions about barrels for turkey, deer, coyotes and groundhogs?

Please Help me ? I want to know if there is a gun that you can swap out barrels on from Muzzle loader to bullet for all around hunting ???I don't want to buy two or three different guns. Do they make one that would go from Muzzle loader to all sorts of Ammo and what name would I be looking for ??? Thanks. You could email me with answer GeoBible AT Msn.com

I took an Apex to Africa last year with a .50 muzzeloader barrel, a .243 and a .300 Win Mag and that battery was perfect for game of all different sizes. I'd add a .22-250, a shotgun barrel and maybe a .270 (though cgull's suggestion of a 25-06 is good). One suggestion is to mount a scope on quick-detach rings so you can easily switch optics from one barrel to the next.

CVA is coming out with a short-barreled, break-open single shot rifle this year, the Scout, but it doesn't have interchangeable barrels.

I too have been looking at the Apex. Its cheaper than its cousin teh Encore. I have 2 Cva's that are ten + years old and still have barrels that look brand new. I'd get a BLack powder, a 25-06 for deer, groundhog and coyote, a 12 gauge for turkeys. Another great choice for the predators would be the 22-250.
