I'm new to the 17HMR caliber. What is the differences between 17HMR, 17 Varmint Express, and 17 Mach 2?
ALso,which ones can be fired in a 17HMR caliber?

well the 17 hmr is a necked down 22 magnum and a 17 mach 2 is a 22lr necked down to 17 caliber. only the 17 hmr fits in a 17 hmr rifle. and the 17 varmint express i have no knowledge of it as a caliber but i know that hornady makes a brand of .17 hmr ammo called varmint express and some gun companys have guns called the varmint express.
