Q:
Does anyone know the follow up to the Huge grizzly killed in alaska a couple years back that was like 12 feet tall, and the guy unloaded on it with a 7mm? It ate a couple hikers and was a monster of a bear.. its all over but i cant seem to find any sure truth about it?

it was hoax, never the less the bear was huge but it was not as big as the story claimed it to be. and as for the hikers and that stuff i am not knowing
Are you talking about the one some years back say 4 the hiker unloaded a 22 in the bear the bear in turn eat some body parts very, very grafic pics wer on the net a game officer shot the bear ya a freind of mine lives up their is freinds with the game officer i havent heard anything more about the bear but those pics wernt supose to go to the public not sure
My guess is the story is either a hoax or was kept quiet(covered up). A story like that could seriously hamper reintroduction efforts here in the states. Kind of like the stand pro wolf advocates have saying there is no record of a wolf attacking people in north america.Obviously those folks have never googled "wolf attacks", you might be surprized at the number of results!
i was living there when it came out. it was a hoax. the whole thing.
