Q:
I'm going on my honeymoon to British Columbia in september. We will be hunting moose. elk, black bear, and mule deer. I will have a .300 Ultra Mag, my fiance will be using a .300 win mag. Long shots are not anticipated but could be a possibility. What bullet should we use? I was lookin at 180 grain Scirocco or 200 grain A-Frame. Any help on this would greatly appreciated.

You are a very lucky man.
Try 180gr Barnes TSX or MSX.
Did I say you are a very lucky man?
either or will work, shot placement is critical on moose, their tough as nails but hit em in the boiler and they wont go far.
Congrats you two ! I'd stick with the 180gr.
Any "quality" brand/round will do just fine.
Good luck, Good hunting, and have a long happy life together.
