My step dad taught me to hunt and pretty much how to do anything i love him and i don't know what i would have done without him
My dad took me hunting but knew little about it. I am grateful for him introducing me to the sport but as far as learning how to hunt it was magazines such as OL that taught me the essentials to be a successful hunter.
My dad bought me my first rifle & taught me how to shoot but he didn't hunt--he did teach me to fish and took me camping. I learned about hunting from a couple of great friends, a lot on my own (experience is a great teacher), and some from magazines like OL. I still credit my dad with planting the seed--he's the one that first got me interested in firearms and the outdoors.
my dad has taught me almost everything i know about hunting he got me into it and provided me with knowledge to be succesful. magazines and books also greatly helped me be succesful and other people such as my unlce and my dads friends helped me out
1.mistakes 2.father 3.uncles 4.extended famliy 5. grew up in a friendly small town where I learnd things from almost each hunter in my local area.;)
My brother and I hunted with both my father and mother. There were many hunts with my Grandfather as well. As young man we often hunted with my Uncle on my father's side. As I think about it.. I can think of so many other relations I hunted with over the years, I guess, like dropjhook, it was an activity enjoyed by the extended family. Small wonder hunting comes to occupy such a significant role in a life so lived.
my dad taught me how to hunt. i love the sport, and he will never really know how much he means to me. i dont know what i would do without him.
