Q:
I am looking to buy a new bow. I have an old Hoyt Bow from the beginning of the 90's and it is starting to act a little weird. I haven't really ever looked for a bow before as I was in college and never had enough money to get a new bow. What would be a great light, fast, short compound bow that is under $400. Any help anyone could give me would be great!!!

pse stinger is a good bow and its cheap as well
I would recommend a Parker. I personally just purchased a new Parker fully outfitted for $459 and I love it. I would go to www.huntersfriend.com and check out what they have. That is where I got mine and I am very satisfied with it. Good luck!
