Check with your state authority, be it wildlife department, Game and Parks Commission, whatever it is called in your state. They will have the answer, each state has its own rules.

It'll be a state law most places it's the same as getting the regular hunting license.

In Ark. there is no bow lic./age limit. The other guys are right, contact your game and fish guys,look up the regulations in you state on the internet.

in Virginia you have to get a hunting license at age 12, and you have to buy a bowhunting license seperate, but it depends on what state you live in, you should check with the game commission before going into the woods.
