Q:
I heard that Mountain Lion / Cougar meat was not only edible but, very good to eat. Is this true? And if so where can I find recipes for this animal?

All meat is edible. It is your taste that is going to tell you whether you like it or not. Some people cannot stand that tast of venison. Some people hate the taste of bear. Some people also eat snake, squirrel, and rat. Personally I have tried many types of meat and will always try anything new. Peeple need to let go of their inhibitions and try new things. If you were never told what it was, would you try it? Always try everything twice! Been wondering about Iguana since reading an article here in OL a few months ago. As far as Cougar, I know a few people that think it is really good meat. Kind of tough though. Best made into sausage or jerky.
