Generally around a dollar for good ones...but the price will fluctuate from year to year (I'm talking about grey squirrels).
Some lure manufacturers may also have a use for the tails. Be careful here, as I've heard some sellers have had problems with thwm.
Google some trapper magazines...many of them contain actual prices for squirrel...and most other furs...which their assosiation(s) have received.
Fur-Fish-Gaame is a good magazine to start with.
$1.50 says fur fish game
Not really worth it unless you get alot.
In regards to Mesarich's comment: Years ago Mepps paid 25 cents per tail. What they pay now I have no idea, probably same price.
Dont know about the pelts, but Mepps used to buy the tails. I believe they still do.
Website I usually go to to see prices of what they are paying for certain skins currently arent buying squirrel pelts, if I find someone who is ill let you know.
