Its all in what you want, the 30-06 will reach out farther than the 35. I would go with the 06.

I agree. It is going to depend on where you hunt. I do believe the 308 or 30-06 gives you more versatility.

Don't rule out the .308 in the 7600. It's performance is very near that of the .30-06 but with less recoil.

Were do you Hunt mostly Heavy Woods Swamps open Fields
if its a combo of the above the 7600 in 308 or 30/06
in a carbine works, the Marlin 35Rem with Hornady Ammo
will give you the same Reach and faster in woods and Swamp.

Remington 7600 in 30-06. Both of them are great guns though, you cant go wrong with buying either of them.
