Welcome to Outdoor Life
ThermaCELLs have become a de rigueur piece of gear for spring turkey hunters, early-season Southern deer hunters or any outdoorsman who has to deal with gnats, no-see-ums, chiggers or mosquitoes.
The company recently introduced a lantern, which uses the same proven technology to keep bugs at bay, but also includes a battery-operated light, making it an ideal take-along for your late-summer camping or fishing adventures or at hunting camp before the first frost kills off the pesky nuisances.
I recently took a couple on vacation to northern Ontario, home of the most infernal strain of mosquitoes known to man. Not only did the lantern’s repellent characteristics make sitting around a campfire at night tolerable, its soft glow created a lovely ambience on those middle-of-the-night visits to the outhouse.
ENTER TO WIN: ThermaCELL is giving away an insect repelling appliance a day for the month of August. Visit http://www.thermacell.com/giveawayoutdoorlife to enter.

Therma cell works as advertised. I never go in woods without one during mosquito season. Used on the tundra, boundary waters canoe and all over in various swamps while and camping; helps repells other insects like no see ems, and blackflies.
