Price / Value: B
We didn’t expect to like this ponderous, unlovely scope. Then we looked through it.
Optically, the 30mm Bresser trumped scopes with a much heftier price tag, and we liked the distinct illuminated aiming point at the center of the duplex reticle and precise side focus. But at 26 ounces—the beefiest scope in the test—it’s needlessly heavy. And the large illumination control module is an inelegant addition to an already oversized eyepiece.
