Dad’s got an AR, and now Junior can have one, too--of the pneumatic variety, that is. Crosman Corporation introduces the new M4-177 pneumatic air rifle that shoots both BBs and .177 caliber pellets. Assembled in the USA, the M4-177 has a textured polymer stock, forearm and receiver, all designed with an AR in mind, from the M4 style receiver to the collapsible stock. by Gun owners have much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving with three significant Second Amendment victories within the last week.
1.) On Nov. 16, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 822, the long-awaited National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act, which would allow individuals with state-issued concealed firearm permits or licenses to carry a concealed firearm in any other state that also issues concealed firearm permits or licenses, or in any state that does not prohibit the carrying of concealed firearms.
Previous versions of the proposed National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act never made it beyond the House. This time, it was approved in a 272-154 vote; 43 Democrats supported it and seven Republicans voted against it. Despite the broad support in the House, the National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act is not expected to be approved by the Senate. Second Amendment advocates are encouraged to contact their Senators and urge them to adopt it.

by The Obama Administration apparently thinks it's O.K. for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives to sell automatic weapons to Mexican drug cartels, but it is not O.K. for American citizens to target-shoot with their legally-owned firearms on 245 million acres of public lands that they -- not the government -- own.
Yet, if revised regulations proposed by the Obama Administration are adopted by the Bureau of Land Management, gun owners who have historically been able to use public lands for target practice would be barred from potentially millions of acres.

by It's always ironically amusing when liberal ideologues and self-crowned lords, such as New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, spiral into foam-spittled diatribes when pontificating about the political influence and financial clout of membership-driven organizations like the NRA.
It's ironic because no matter how hard they try, no matter how much money they spend, they cannot match the NRA's efficacy. So, they attack the NRA for beating them at their own game.

Apparently, Benelli isn’t satisfied with the great waterfowling shotguns it already makes, as it has just released a new shotgun custom-tuned for the hard-core waterfowler—the Benelli Super Black Eagle II (SBE II) Performance Shop Waterfowl Edition. Essentially, Benelli took its already well-established SBE II and added a number of Benelli's Performance Shop enhancements.
For example, the Waterfowl Edition comes with a set of Rob Roberts Custom Triple Threat™ chokes, to give shooters a selection of choke tubes that apply specifically to waterfowl hunting at short, medium and long-range distances. Each individual gun is also test-fired with Federal Premium's Black Cloud® shotshells.

by It's unfortunate that two of every three Americans now get their "news"--all of their "news"--from television.
Not only is TV "news," by its nature, a superficial cavalcade of visually stimulating events presented in disjointed, rapid-fire video snippets and sound bites, but it provides a forum for smug dumb-downers to comment authoritatively on important and complex issues, even when they don't know what they are talking about.
Such was the case in early November when two MSNBC "personalities" strayed from scripted commentary on Lindsay Lohan, Prince Andrew, and 'Dancing With The Stars,' to dismiss the Founding Fathers, the Supreme Court, legal and history scholars, and millions of fellow Americans as dolts for thinking the Second Amendment is an integral component of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
MSNBC "personalities" Alex Wagner and Craig Melvin believe--it's all about what you "believe" and how you "feel," not about what you "think"--you should not have a right to bear arms and protect yourself.
