Nebraska Mystery Bucks

October 30, 2009
Nebraska Mystery Bucks - 11

These photos have just come in—two giant bucks reportedly from Nebraska. Can't hardly believe the size of the buck's rack in the back of that pickup truck! It looks more like a moose. Details as they come in.

We're in the process of tracking down Mystery Buck No. 2 as well. Killer mass and brow tines.

Either the result of atomic fallout (remember the '50s movies about giant critters) or interbreeding with moose. If moose, I'd believe their range has vastly increased.

But Ruck, if they have interbred with moose, think what they would taste like. I mean I love moose meat, that would be awesome. I would move back to Nebraska for that. A deer that tastes like moose, I'd be in heaven.

Wow, those are great bucks! Makes the couple decent bucks I've been drooling over on my stealth cam look like juveniles!

jamesti, I see no need to give you a neg feedback because if it was what you were told growing up... it is what you were told/taught growing up.

That buck in the back of the pickup truck has a rack that looks to be symmetrical enough to be classified as Boone and Crockett "Typical." Fantastic!

Sure hope you can get some more details on the buck in the back of the truck. Have been seeing that pic for about two weeks it seems hearing it was shot in pretty much every state.

Live in Nebraska, got two conflicting text messages. one saying shot in western Nebraska, the other saying somewhere in missouri, conflicting number of points, conflicting numbers on mass! I would like to believe it's true but i am skeptical. The one on the bottom i can definately believe!
