What Cold Looks Like: Icefishing in -50 Degrees - 1

Minnesota icefishermen are either really tough, or really dumb. This video was shot last weekend during the world's largest charity icefishing tournament on Gull Lake in the North Star State. Winds gusted to 50 mph and temperatures dropped to -50 degrees with wind chill. Still, 10,500 people showed up to fish the tournament.

Some of the tournament participants actually enjoyed themselves. Please, note the laughing in the background track at the end of this video. Perhaps someone had gone into hypothermic hysteria.

See photos from the icefishing tournament here.

Really tough or really dumb? They gave us Al Frankin so that's an easy one.
