Holder Tells Senate Committee Justice Department Supports More 'Gun Control' - 5

Gun Rights Examiner David Codrea in a Nov. 21 blog posted on examiner.com is among the first to note that Attorney General Eric Holder, "in unmistakably clear admissions before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Nov. 18 ... signaled strong administration support for additional 'gun control edicts."

Citing a press release by the Law Enforcement Alliance of America, the only national law enforcement organization to oppose Holder's confirmation, Codrea writes that Holder proposes:

* A national, permanent gun registration system administered by law enforcement. A registration of honest citizens that have cleared the federal background check for gun purchases with those records permanently retained by and shared among law enforcement.

* New federal authority to prohibit any person on the federal watch list (reported to be 400,000 names) from buying guns and supports confiscating guns from those on the list who possess them.

Instead of gun control, why don't we get rid of the criminals. It would solve a couple of problems. Crime for one, and it would save taxpayers 33,000 dollars per year per inmate.

More Gun Control? What we need is Politician Control!
-----------------------------------------------------
This is what will actually happen....
First the Gov. will create a national, permanent gun registration. Than soon to follow the federal watch list would all of a sudden contain all the gun owners from the national, permanent gun registration list. One minute you would be a law-abiding citizen and the next minute you will be a criminal.
The funny thing is, criminals will still be criminals and have their guns, but the law-abiding will be turned into criminals that don't have guns.
