Rock River Arms' New Fred Eichler Series Predator .223 Rifle - 1

Rock River Arms, Inc. introduces the Fred Eichler Series Predator .223 rifle, developed and field tested with the extensive help of Fred Eichler, host of the television show Predator Nation.

The Fred Eichler Series rifle weights 7.7 pounds and was designed for run-and-gun varmint hunting. The 16-inch mid-length stainless steel barrel is cryogenically treated to increase accuracy and aids in cleaning the firearm.

The RRA free-float handguard has a full length Picatinny top rail, plus 2.5-inch rails at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock for lights, lasers and bi-pods. The unique CNC coyote track design isn’t just for looks—it also helps dissipate heat.

A forged A4 upper flattop allows attachments for scopes, night vision and red dot sights. The rifle is equipped with a chromed RRA National Match two-stage trigger with a Parkarized non-reflective surface on the trigger shoe. For the cold-weather hunter, the rifle has an over-molded pistol grip and a winter trigger guard that accommodates winter or tactical gloves. RRA’s custom muzzle break with directional porting reduces muzzle lift and recoil.

Finished in two-tone black-and-tan, the rifle is available in either the RRA Operator Stock or RRA 6-position Operator CAR Stock. Also comes with one 20-round magazine (10 round where restricted by law), a hard case and an owner’s manual.

MSRP $1,395.

A few weeks ago I purchased one of these rifles. I have to say I'm completely satisfied and amazed with the rifles accuracy so far. Using good quality ammunition in the heavier grains I have been able to achieve .5 MOA at 100 yards all day long. Congrats to RRA
