Live Hunt Alaska: RAM DOWN! - 9
by Mark Seacat
It's 9:15 pm Mountain time. Mark just called to tell me that Nate connected with his ram. They're quartering it and heading back to camp for the night. It's back to Lance's house tomorrow for a warm night's sleep. Great photos and videos to come!! - Katie |

Congrats Nate! Can't wait to see the video and here the story. You are my HERO! Ha Ha Ha!

Congratulations guys! Cant wait to see the pics and video! This has been a great hunt to follow.
Nate and dedicated guides, Congratulations to all of you. We have been following the hunt with great anticipation, and nobody deserves a sucessful hunt more than you guys.We are looking forward to seeing you Nate and hearing all about it. Dad
Good work Nate!
Nate is known as "the over grown spider" to Bozeman locals. It takes a Seacat to keep up with him in that rough junk. Killer pictures Mark. I'm glad I was not the guide...

Congrats on your success. But it sure was a far cry from being "live". Heck it has been 2 days since the kill and still not a single pic or update. Bad bad job.
Congratulations Nate and Mark! I cannot wait to see some pics and the video!
Must have been a long hike out. :-)
Even though I have not been following this, please help me understand.I seen the picture of the ram they took or I guess it was the photo. Anyway the ram looks to be about 1/2 curl or less, which is illegal in most units in Alaska. Did they have a special tag or an any sex tag? Or did I see the wrong photo?
Thanks
They were hunting the DS 140 tag, which is an "any sheep", archery only tag from Oct 1-10. Congrats and great job on the hunt, the photos are awesome. And as far as the comment above about the hunt being "Live", those of us who have actually hunted that remote country understand the logistics of trying to keep us updated. Excellent job and thanks for the effort to allow us to be involved.
