Deer of the Year Contest Missouri Brute
 Opening day, 77 degrees, 11:45, 25 MPH wind - not a good day for deer hunting according to the experts! Another hunter decided to leave an adjoining parcel and his scent blew everything out of the lower woods and brushy swale. The buck chose an escape route across an open ridge top at 110 yards. My 25-06 did the rest. Patience pays dividends.
