Welcome to Outdoor Life
Largemouth bass
I can't afford a big expensive bass boat. I got maybe $1,000 to spend, total, and that's pushing it. Anyone have any ideas of what kind of boat I could get for that much that I could use for bass fishing? I was thinking a float tube, but dang, that's a lot of kicking around a lake...would like something that I could put a small trolling motor or something on...
if you are just going to be fishing solo, i like the lightweight inflatable boats. most will allow for a trolling motor mount.
Just get you a used hull and make sure it's sealed up good. A jon boat. Should'nt be more than $200. Throw a used 25 horse motor and a used trolling motor on there for about another $3-$500, and you'll be set. That's what I did. You should be able to find a pretty decent set up and trailer for a grand. Where you at? I got one I may sell ya.
You could always try you luck on http://tinyurl.com/catchaboat ...You play the game for a chance to win a new Triumph boat! Your first cast of each day could also get you a great daily prize.
youre not gonna get much of anything for 1000
