Guns

U.S. Gun Ban as supported by Hillary Clinton

Too bad Bill wasn't a hunter or gun enthusiast. Maybe then Hillary wouldn't be dead set or disarming the American people.

http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE59E0Q920091015

U.S. agrees to timetable for UN Gun Ban
The United Nations and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are moving forward with their plan to confiscate your guns.

The United States joined 152 other countries in support of the Arms Trade Treaty Resolution, which establishes the dates for the 2012 UN conference intended to attack American sovereignty by stripping Americans of the right to keep and bear arms.

Working groups of anti-gun countries will begin scripting language for the conference this year, creating a blueprint for other countries when they meet at the full conference.

The stakes couldn't be higher.

Former United Nation's ambassador John Bolton has cautioned gun owners about the Arms Trade Treaty and says the UN “is trying to act as though this is really just a treaty about international arms trade between nation states, but there’s no doubt that the real agenda here is domestic firearms control.”

Establishing the dates for the Arms Trade Treaty Conference is just the first step toward their plans for total gun confiscation.

The worldwide gun control mob will ensure the passage of an egregious, anti-gun treaty...

. . .and that's where Secretary of State Hillary Clinton steps in.

Once the UN Gun Ban is passed by the General Assembly of the United Nations it must be ratified by each nation, including the United States.

As an arch enemy of gun owners, Clinton has pledged to push the U.S. Senate to ratify the treaty. She will push for passage of this outrageous treaty designed to register, ban and CONFISCATE firearms owned by private citizens like YOU.

I guess we should ban medicine, cars, alcohol, cigarettes. ...all of these things cause more deaths then firearms. almost anything can be used to kill, the item does not engage on its own, it takes a human being to engage these objects. If you don't support the 2nd amendmant than you are not a real American, you are just part of this bend over, take it in the a@#, coward society that is being created in america. Since when do we stand by and watch everything we believe and stand for be taken from us. That is not the America I learned about in school or the country that we all love.

On this day one man, Timothy McVeigh drove a uhaul, parked it in front of a federal building full of fertilizer rigged as an explosive, and blew up city blocks killing 169 people and imjuring well over 300 more. combine all the school "shootings" that have occured since then. there is no comparison to the damages (over $265,000,000) and lives lost including 19 children under the age of 6. @Chris Ford. 3 of my ancestors fought in the Revolutionary war, 1 in the war of 1812, and 1 in WWII. These brave men fought for our FREEDOMS as American citizens. Without guns, we would never have become the great nation we are today!

Gun bans have not worked in the past, how the hell do you think they will work now? What we are facing in this country is a problem of ANGER and lack of guidance on how to deal with it. This is what happens when we brush aside old family and community values in favor of the entitlement mentality. Some kids don't understand how to be proper and respectful citizens, they simply are not getting this information at home or in the schools. Discipline is lacking in this country as well. When I was a child, if I f'ed up in school, I got sent to the Principal's office to get my ass beat with that wooden paddle that many of us older guys remember. Sure it was humiliating, but it also taught me to not do it again.

What is needed is education. It needs to be mandatory that folks take proper gun safety and anger management classes before purchasing a firearm. All three of the latest tragedies could have been prevented if these young men had had the foresight and knowledge to choose more constructive avenues (going for a walk, going fishing, going to see a movie, etc.) to responsibly relive their anger.

Just a few hours ago, a man walked into an elementary (primary) school and murdered until he couldn't murder any further.

He did this because he had automatic, high-calibre weapon.

My personal belief is that if you have a weapon, you should be treated like a potential murderer. Because all you gun loving, law abiding citizens, as the NRA like to call you, can turn into murderous arseholes pretty quickly.

Guns should be comprehensively banned. Banned from movies, games, TV, the lot. Find something more entertaining, that doesn't involve the potential murder of people.

To Alex Rodriguez. How many people do you know that have been killed or kidnapped in the past few years? I personally knew 4 and I say knew, because they are all dead. They didn't have guns, they all were well off law abiding Mexican citizens who didn't have easy access to guns. Yet they were easy prey because the guys who kidnapped them and killed them knew that the odds of them having a gun were close to 0. They didn't stand a chance. BTW making guns is not rocket science specially when you are a Cartel that has billions of dollars at their disposal. You only need equipment worth less than 500 thousand dollars and a couple of fairly competent engineers to produce firearms in large volumes. Heed my words, bad guys will always have access to guns, law abiding citizens won't, specially if the government doesn't allow them or takes away their right to bear arms, therefore leaving them unprotected. SBH has a point, I don't know about most of the cases on the list that he published, but it is a fact that one of the first things the Nazis did when they came to power was to remove the right to bear arms and to monopolize the control of fire arms; the rest is history. A very sad one by the way.

Hillary Clinton wants to ban your guns.
What troubles me is that the American congress and Obama know what
history shows happens when a government bans private guns. Afterwards
people start getting exterminated. I have the facts here below in brief
of 8 countries some of which you probably didn't know ever confiscated
their citizen's guns.

1. Soviet Union gun ban from 1929 1953. 20,000,000 dissidents were rounded up and killed.
2. Turkey gun ban 1911. From 1915 to 1917 1,500,000 Armenians were rounded up and killed.
3. Germany gun ban 1938. From 1939 to 1945 13,000,000 Jews were rounded
up and killed.
4. China gun ban 1935. From 1948 to 1952 20,000,000 political dissidents
were rounded up and killed.
5. Guatemala gun ban 1964. From 1964 to 1981 100,000 Mayan Indians were
rounded up and killed.
6. Uganda gun ban 1970. From 1971 to 1979 300,000 Christians were rounded up and killed.
7. Cambodia gun ban 1956. From 1977 to 1979 1,000,000 educated people
were rounded up and killed.
8. In the 20th century 56,000,000 defenceless people were exterminated
because of gun control.

Austalia just had a country wide gun ban 1 year ago. Now after gun
control the results so far are, homicides by firearms are up 3.2%, Assults are up 8.6%, Armed robberies are up 44%, and in the state of Victory homicides with firearms are up 300%.

The Austalian goverment says they can't understand why this is happening.
All that gun bans do is take away the guns from the good people. The law
breakers will find a way to get their guns. All governments know pretty much what to expect when they confiscate private firearms. The bible says there is evil in government. The bible is right.

Lies! Lies! Lies!!

The Secretary of State is NOT supporting a USA gun ban. It has to do only with trade as pointed out by "vette". Get you facts straight! There is no, zero, zip, threat to our right to bear arms you idiot fanatics. In fact the last major set of restrictions came during a Republican administration and those laws have expired because the spineless morons in both parties failed to re-up reasonable restrictions on a scant few rules (assault weapons and extended mags ..last time I checked, there is no big ass buck out there with bullet proof vest requiring assault weapons and extended mags).

Man up and focus on bolstering education on gun and hunter safety, while supporting efforts to keep weapons out of international nut-heads hands. You know, the "bad guys" that George W. Bush failed to get by sending our troops to Iraq ....Oops! The bad guys were in Afganastahn and its neighbor, but hey, what's a few thousand dead soldiers to the idiot Bush who put us in to two wars, let the financial industry drag us to the edge of disaster, and keeps taxes on the wealthy much lower than Regan and Bush senior had in place when our finances were reasonably in control.

Good luck buying guns and ammo if you let the nut head republicans continue to gut our economy by continuing down this rat hole of the middle class providing welfare to the rich through low taxes and BS tax loopholes minimizing the taxes corporations pay (or don't pay more accurately)!

Gun rights YES! Reasonable American gun rights HELL YES! Continuation of America arming our enemies NO - support reasonable export restrictions.

Do any politicians honestly think our import/export deficit could withstand a $37 billion addition to the loss column? We are so far in debt that payback now includes our great grand children's lunch money. Will the 'new' Congress understand this after the fall elections?

pyrilium, your point should be well taken, and it would be true if, this is a BIG IF, we had a president who really meant it when he swore "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Unfortunately in almost everything that he has done, he has worked tirelessly to undermine the Constitution of the United States. Don't believe me? Government takeovers of the banks, big business, the auto industry, not to mention the hijacking of healthcare that is currently in progress. NONE of those actions fall under his authority in the Constitution. Our Congress and Senate gave him those things. They will give him our guns also.
The only way to stop him is to take out every Senator and Congressman who voted for what the Obamanation wanted, in the November election. Vote them all OUT. They will try to take your guns, no matter how they talk in their campaign speeches. If they voted for any of the above travesties, they need to be gone form office, never to be heard from again by the public sector.

I support Hilary's decision on this. The constitution can be revised. Don't you see this will stop a lot of violence everywhere, even in Mexico?
