Has anyone ever heard of something like a gun mattress? Went on a guided hunt last week and they had one. It hooked up to the jeep on the hood and held our guns in there while we were driving around. Pretty cool especially 'cus there was a good sized group of us. They weren't sure what exactly it was called. Anybody know?

I've seen something that might be similar for the bed of a truck, can't remember what it was called though.
I saw that thing on texashuntfish.com a couple years ago. It actually is called a gun mattress and I looked it up and it's made in Texas by a company called Hilsport. They have a modest website, but you can see them and buy them on there. Pretty neat. I'm just more of a fisherman personally.
Listen, I don't know about any truck mounted gun mattress. I do know when a kid gets his first shotgun Mom and Dad probably have to draw the line,"You are not sleeping with that shotgun young man!" Bring back any memories?
