What's the best hunting ATV?

What's the best hunting ATV? I've been doing some research and it looks like most people prefer Hondas and the manual shift. And what about motor size? 350cc? This is for my son for a Christmas gift, so feedback ASAP is appreciated.

Anything else I need to know?

Thanks! Mark

Mark....since it's the end of January I figure u have already bought the ATV. I would have recommened a Suzuki King Quad. not the big 700cc but the smaller 400. Iv'e had a 300cc for 10 yrs.. It's enough power for your son and it will take him any where he wants to go. Any bigger engine size and he may get in trouble. My brother has a 500cc and It has way to much power for the trails we ride on.

It really depends on what you are looking for in an ATV. I currently own a Yamaha Grizzly 550 with power steering and it is an awesome machine. It will do it all. I do alot of mountain riding in some pretty extreme terrain and this machine handles it all easily. I have also spent a lot of time riding Honda Foreman 450's They are also great little machines, but not as good in the rougher terrain. They are built more for being a work horse around the farm and out in the field.
