North American healing plant life

I just read the post befor mine about the soultion to heal cuts. I thought why not share some age old secrets with the readers. I know some of you know the uses for certain plants and if I missed any please share it with us. Its getting cold and flu season again the main thing I use is called husk its a root when you chew on it in relives soar throughts plus saves money! Some of thos3e are reasonably good. As far as the Willow trees, anything like that should not be used by any child under the age of 18. The active ingredients are salicylates which can cause a very serious and sometimes fatal complication called Reyes Syndrome. Some children afflicted are not killed, but become completely disabled. Children should avoid this like the plague.

In the last few years scientists have discovery a cancer fighting agent in the Mountain Helmlock conifer trees.Now there are licenced people who harvest helmlock buds to further these studies.
