Moon Phases
Hey sorry fellas for not posting but we just moved again, just waiting for the net to get hooked up at the new place so i can enjoy the site again! oh yeah I left a few bear photos if you care to look at them, hope to talk soon. Oh Yeah Hunting is here again!
Kody, to tell the truth there is big bucks just across the road from the gym im using right now :) so i think i might just keep them with me o you gota love Montana :)
Kody,
Sorry to hear about the bum hip. Hopefully all goes well and you make a speedy recovery and get on with your safari! I guess you should strech more before you start twisting yourself all up into the squating swan or whatever yoga you do ;-)
Get well soon,
Smitty18
Try not to confuse your two passions DJH. Firearms are not allowed on the basketball court. ... leave the hunting knife at home as well.
Kody, I know what you mean busy, belive it or not I'm more knowin for my basketball skills localy then my passion for hunting. I've been trying to get back in basketball shape so i can start running the courts again. I feel the same way about hunting hurt, if I have one good arm to drag me forward, I'm going hunting :)
Dropjhook, I am so busy these days I don't dare find one of those secluded places or I might not choose to come back. I will have to live a little vicariously through some of your adventures. Keep them coming......I am nursing a bad hip these days and had to postpone a Fall safari until I get a spare part installed. I intend to go goose hunting if I have to be hauled out in a wheel barrow.

Not to my house anyways :) but they always pass threw the backyard. I dont leave out anything that would make them want to come closer now though. got the HD camera ready if they would show them selfs in good light again :)
DJH, how are you getting along with your neighbor, the bear? Is he still stopping by? We had a sow living in the woods near our place in MN and she would swing by every few days to check the bird feeder.
kody, thanks, i'm the type of guy who hikes half way up the mountain range just to enjoy a sack lunch on a big cliff that over looks the vally. Yes I'm guilty of seeking out places that others would only enter with a small platoon :-) been called crazy more then once for the places that catch my curiosity. I missed all summer on OL but glad im settled in here just in time for rutting seasons, hope i can help spread the love for the outdoors with things I share. Looking forward to enjoying OL's company and the cool blogs, by the way your probably right kody, i was born 150 yrs to late but my spirit was born at a time when the outdoor world needs a voice like mine so they won't forget where we come from & where we will at sometime return :-)
Hello Dropjhook.
If anyone on the forum could be considered a mountain man, it would be you. I have said before that you were born 150 years to late and missed the period in which you belong. Your long absence had me thinking you decided to shun everything modern and hit the back country. ... Of course, I know better. Your kids would drag you back to this century. I know you are a great family man so you would not put up much of a fight. I still recall a home made video of the family tobogganing that you once posted. Welcome back
Kody
thanks fellas, yes he is a very bad bear, We need to find the mama bear that has been teaching all her cubs these bad ways.
That bear was a curious son of a gun. he must be glad to have new neighbors. I'll be looking forward to your comments to come, DJH. It's been awhile.
Left you some comments on the bear pictures. Bears don't attempt break ins on charlie's house. Very bad bear you have there.
