Q:I have a Mosin Nagant 91/30 Russian infantry rifle that I use for deer hunting. My issue is with finding a scope that will allow me to reach disatances of 800 to 1000 yards. Unfortunetly, I have been unable to find a rail mount and scope that will allow me to do so without drilling, or tapping my reciever thus decreasing the rifle's C&R eligibilty value. Any thoughts would be greatly apprecitated!! Thanks, Eric

Q:What is a good brand and model for a bolt action .223 caliber rifle? I want something that is accurate and good quality, but not something thats going to break the bank.

Q:One of my favorite shooting rifles is a sporterized 8mm Mauser. It's a nice gun, and is fun to shoot, but the bore is poor. The bore is highly pitted and is a nightmare to clean. Despite this, it routinely places 3 shots within 1.5 inches at 100 yards. This contradicts everything I've ever read about accuracy and bore condition. I don't get it. Why does this gun shoot so well?
