Expert advice that will keep your wing-shooting sharp until the season opens
Q:So I am trying to learn to shoot with both eyes open. I shoot left handed and have always closed my right eye when a shooting rifle of shotgun. When ever I look down a shotgun barrel I see two beads. I think I may be co eye dominant. Any suggestions on how to shoot with both eyes open?

Q:I am gonna do some clay shootin' and am wondering what shells perform best. I am just doing it at my home with a hand thrower, so it's nothing professional. My local gun shop told me to use 2.75 in. #9 with one and one eighth oz. of shot. That seems a little small to me, but what do you guys say?

Q:I have five boys, ages 11, 9, 7, 5 and 3. I want to purchase a shotgun for them to use as they grow up. I have a 12-gauge and would like to get the same for the boys. Can you tell me what to look for in a youth-model gun? I imagine things such as weight are important. This will be mostly for trap shooting. -Gary Vawdrey, Highland, UT
