Man the old covers are awesome, I have an old book that has a compiliation of stories from outdoor life and it's got some old covers pictured in it. You guys should do a cover that's reminiscent of these older covers.
Yoda's right ON!! Lotsa Happy memories there to think abt!! Showed them to g/kid's and they thought they were SUPER also.. YOC
These old cover pictures are like watching old movies. It's somewhat of a lost art. It's also a reminder of what we perceive as simpler times. The old guns and fishing equipment. Much of it out of reach of our shallow "younger" pockets even at that time. I remember browsing through the older magazines at my dads office, and listening to the discussions. It's fun to look back. If you look at the magazine racks of today, each magazine is trying to reach out and grab your attention. The old comic books seem easier to read, or is it my old eyes.
very nice art work "makes you want to go hunting or fishing.
I love the old covers. I do wish that cover 20 would happen to me.
Those are some awsome covers
Nice, A glance into my Fathers time...my Grandfathers times and the way a early America loved the outdoor...very well done.
Remington once issued a set of their old posters. I had them mounted and have enjoyed them ever since. How about offering these covers in a series of poster sets - a hunting, fishing and adventure set?
those r awsome
Good photo,thanks.
