  • Andrew McKean is the Hunting Editor of Outdoor Life. Based in Montanna, McKean has extensive hunting and bowhunting experience that runs the gamut from big game to birds to varmints. He is the author of Hunting in the West and was formerly Montana State President of the National Wild Turkey Federation. He is a hunter education and bowhunter education instructor and a dedicated conservationalist.
  • Terry Gibson recently joined Outdoor Life as Fishing Editor. A lifelong fisherman and resident of Florida, Terry has guided anglers in Florida, South Dakota and Alaska and has written and edited several books on fishing, including Sportsman's Best: Spotted Seatrout. When he's not out fishing, Gibson is one of the most determined and effective young leaders in the conservation movement.
  • John Snow is Outdoor Life's Shooting Editor. Since coming to Outdoor Life, Snow has overseen the magazine's comprehensive gear tests, lauched the 'Guns & Gear' and 'Recreational Shooting' sections and written frequently on hunting and firearms. He also hosts 'The Gun Shots' on outdoorlife.com, one of the most popular shooting-related blogs on the internet.
  • Rich Johnson, Outdoor Life's Survival Expert, is an avid outdoorsman, adventurer and world traveler. During his military years, he served in the Special Forces. After returning to civilian life, his interest turned into non-military outdoor survival. Wanting to write and teach based on actual experience, Johnson took his family into the remote wilds, where they lived a survival lifestyle for a year.
