Opening day of the first Colorado rifle season found this 13 year old girl sitting in a meadow awaiting day light. The temperature was only 9 degrees when the sun finally broke the horizon. After a short set, this beautiful 6X6 bull elk ran out into the meadow and stopped broadside at 140 yards. With a single well placed shot, this Colorado youth had herself a trophy of a lifetime.
