Arawana This world record arawana was caught in 2008 in Brazil's Rio Camaiu by Johnny Hoffmann. It weighed 25 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 47 inches. Aspius Vorax This world record was caught on-duty. Kim Gage landed it on the Tigris River in Iraq in 2010. This aspius vorax weighed 7 pounds and measured 26 inches long. Barbel This fish tied a two-year-old barbel world record in 2008. Chris Mack caught it in the U.K's River Wensum. It came in at 21 pounds, 2 ounces and 39 inches. Clarence River Cod This 22-pound, 31-inch big boy was landed by David Taylor on the Richmond River in Australia in 2003.
