Well let me retrack my earlier statement.I didn't realize there were round reels left and abt 1/2 price of others. Now I know what to look for at the store if the g/kid's wear out the few I have had all my life.Kinda looks like my ambassador 5500C but with a bwetter drag system?? Way 2go!!guess I need to get off the rifle range more often. Carry ON!! YOC

The ABU-Garcia 704LX is one smooth and great reel for the price. I just purchased one and test casted it with my 8'6" St.Croix ML rod and was I surprised at the smoothness and ease of line flow with lightweight spoons and other rigs. A pro friend checked it out as was amazed also compare with his tourney gear. Great to find a good gear at a great affordable cost.
