Hunting

Celebrity Outdoorsmen and Women Part II

Natalie Gulbis The glamour girl on the LPGA tournament circuit, is a rookie fisher-person, but ****gets an A+ for effort. She went fishing three times in Australia during the Australian Open and lamented catching nothing. We bet she won't have a problem finding a better fishing guide.

Lorrie Morgan The legendary country crooner cutie with many top Billboard music hits. But she's also a hit outdoors, naming fishing and hunting among her favorite hobbies. "I've always been good with a gun," she explains. Check out PART ONE here: 15 Celebrity Sportsmen
Boo Weekley A top PGA golfer and 2008 Ryder Cup player has taken over the coveted "common man" banner from John Daly for many fans. The slow-talking country boy from Milton, Florida says he plays golf so he can afford to hunt and fish, and be with his family outdoors. Move over Daly.
Miranda Lambert She was 7 when she ****got a BB gun, and learned how to shoot a rifle at 12. She took a handgun class with her father, and she keeps a gun on her tour bus. She writes songs about the outdoors, and proudly wears camouflage. "I mostly deer and turkey hunt," she says. "Usually during deer season I try to take Mondays through Thursdays off for a couple of weeks to go hunting. My biggest deer is a 145. I've got some trophy mounts."
Blake Shelton Being Miranda Lambert's boyfriend is all the credentials Blake Shelton needs for this list. But he's a top country crooner, too, and toured hard all spring and summer with Miranda so they could, "get all this work out of the way so we can go deer hunting in the fall."
Jewel Kilcher Better known as Jewel, she blond, beautiful, and a talented singer and performer. Born in Utah, she lived in Alaska in a house without indoor plumbing, and now resides on a deer-rich 2,200-acre Texas ranch with her husband and former rodeo cowboy Ty Murray.
Ty Murray The former rodeo champ is married to Jewel and hunting is a big part of his lifestyle.
Tim Sylvia A 5-time UFC Heavyweight Ultimate Fighting Champion, so tough that he tried to continue a fight with a broken arm, until the referee stopped the bout. He's a deer hunter, bowman, turkey hunter, and called a "gentle giant" by his hunting buddies.
Tiger Woods Perhaps the best-known person on the planet, whose professional golf exploits are legendary. Less known is Tiger's passion for fishing, as he makes frequent angling trips, including annual jaunts to Alaska.
Jake Peavy The Cy Young Award-winning pitcher for the San Diego Padres spends much of his off-season hunting. The Mobile, Alabama native was raised around deer hunting, and pursues his outdoor passion several times each season with fellow pitcher Roy Oswalt.
Roy Oswalt Spent his entire pitching career starting for the Houston Astros. Born and raised in Mississippi, the 3-time All Star pitcher is under a 5-year, $73 million contract–so he can easily afford the frequent deer hunting trips he makes with pitching pal Jake Peavy.
Tony Stewart Has won 33 NASCAR races, over $71 million, and placed out of the top 10 only once over the last decade. He's also a hunter, who likely gets to his tree stand quickly with truck tires spinning and smoking.

Davis Love III One of golf's most enduring pros, and a wild-eyed turkey hunters. A Georgia native, Love owns a large plantation where gobblers are big and plentiful, and an oversize fishing boat dedicated to marlin, tuna, dolphin and other big boys of the ocean.
John Michael Montgomery A country music favorite, Montgomery is a big draw when he gives concerts at hunting and fish shows around the country. An avid hunter and fisherman, he is slated to co-host a television outdoor show this year.
Bill Engvall The Blue Collar Comedy Tour veteran who found fame with the line "here's your sign." He's an actor with his own TV show, and had a movie about a guy who owned a bait shop. A lifelong fisherman and hunter who would, no doubt, would make a late-night hunting camp roar with laughter.
Brad Miller The 7-foot NBA center for the Sacramento Kings and two-time NBA All Star, wears a size 16 shoe, and likely has a bow draw length requiring custom arrows. Brad spends the NBA off-season, hunting and fishing on 900 acres he owns near Kendallville, Indiana, not far from where he attended Purdue University.
Sarah Palin Okay, so she didn't become Vice President. She's still Governor of Alaska, and is perhaps the best thing ever to happen to moose and caribou hunting. Palin can make moose chili for us anytime.
