Absolutely beautiful photography of a "trophy fish catcher". Have watched this bird many times from Canada to Florida and am amazed at its ability to pluck fish from the depths. Wonderful work.

Magnificent photography of a magnificent bird. Many years ago a friend now departed, who was a real survivalist told me he really liked ospreys. When I asked him why he told me "Well,They're smaller than Bald eagles and not nearly as tough and definitely taste better than Northern Spotted Owls" :)

The pictures of the osprey diving are fantastic. If anyone is curious, the wader in picture 7 is the Gray Heron, a native of Eurasia.

i have had the privilege of seeing ospreys fishing many times in Southwest Florida. They are so beautiful and usually catch better fish than I do!

incredible really, though seeing a peregrine falcon stoop and catch a cottontail rabbit is even my fantastic.
