The Huntress: Larysa Switlyk
Larysa Switlyk has hunted and fished all over the world. She's killed some amazing trophies but enjoys the thrill of the hunt more than anything else.
Larysa Switlyk didn't grow up in a family of hunters or anglers so her introduction into the world of outdoor sports was pretty unconventional. AdvertisementADVERTISEMENTAdvertisement |

You are the best thing since sliced bread andpeanut butter!
Knobs like "hyperbananaman" should worry more about feeding their families rather than how you can afford your adventures.
Daddy must be loaded. Maybe he can adopt me too.
How does Larysa Financially afford these trips at such a young age?
My wife and I are going to have a baby and once I get past just being healthy I would like a boy. However I also believe that god has a sense of humor and I will probably be blessed with a girl. So it nice to see that there are female hunters out there that can help me instill a love of it and the outdoors if I should have a daughter. Way to go Larysa.
Ahh..the body building would explain the form then wouldn't it!
Don't mean to offend. There is just something very attractive about a woman who can pull back a bow and get her own animal!
Nice! Good hunting to ya!
Good luck with your hunting show.

What an accomplished young lady...
Hey Larysa! Great pictures! This one is my favorite. I'm telling you, the modeling thing would be great for you. Just beautiful!
If women could experience the rapid heart beat and sheer excitement at looking down on a huge buck from their stand, I belive there would be more female hunters. I try to explain it to my friends, but most women just don't understand. Congratulations to those of us who do!!!
Looks like a true sportswoman. Good to see that. Much respect to the YO for offering her the hunt.
ohhhhh man what a woman! She is like dream, good job keep it up
This sounds great but Why doesn't OL put up a contest just for girls and the winner gets a hunting trip with Larysa then run it on the television???
We need more girls in the OL life experence.. It helps to preserve the sport besides making it better..
Hey! Awesome Gallery!!! makes me a little jealous! keep it up!!
1 last question...Is she single?
If you ever start your own Outdoor show, let me know I've been producing hunting shows for 20 years
She has done it all already! Congrats on the success!
Hey guys...wanna see her videos??? Go to You Tube and check out her site at Lswitlyk She's amazing!!!!
If only my girl was half as cool, lol! Keep up the good work Larysa!
I love hunting and all the beauty I see in the woods, but I've never encontered beauty like her. I must be hunting in the wrong spots.
I'm glad to see that ladies are showing their interest. Thank you all for sharing your adventures and I hope you have many more.
Thanks for all the sweet comments! I appreciate all the kind words and support! I’m just doing what I love and was born to do. I’m glad I get to start sharing it with the world. If you want to contact me are follow my adventures, visit my website

or YouTube channel lswitlyk! Thanks again, all your comments made my day!!
What an accomplished young lady... she's done more hunting and fishing than many people twice her age, and is a great role model to boot!
Another great feature - keep 'em coming, guys!
OK, I say that if hunting needs a new public face, Larysa has my vote...think she could represent it to non-hunters a little better than some of the ol' boys who are associated with hunting. How often does someone "just take up" hunting? Get your first taste of it in New Zealand? Grew up in a non-hunting family? Could go on and on, but I way way to go! OL-- THANK you for sharing her story with us.
Larysa:
My daughter, Tessa, would love to take you an a hunt on our family's (famous) Y.O. Ranch in Mountain Home, Texas.
Sincerely,

I must be hunting and fishing in the wrong spots. I never see any fellow hunters or fishers such as her. :-)
What a great story, good for you Larysa !!!
