Trophy Bucks
With deer season well underway, our readers have taken some huge bucks. Check out the biggest deer taken by OL readers.
A Sunset Shot in Wisconsin It wasn't going to be a long sit, since I didn't get into my stand until 5:15 and sunset was around 6:30. I grunted in a nice 8-point and missed the deer. While going for another arrow this giant 9-point came running in. With very little time, I got an arrow nocked, drew back and stoped the deer with in eight yards of my tree. I released my arrow and he only went 35 yards and crashed. -Benjamin Herum AdvertisementADVERTISEMENTAdvertisement |

All these bucks are trophies, whether small racked or large each one is a trophy because the hunter killed it on the deer's own turf. If I had to pick a favorite its #20 hands down. As a disabled hunter myself, I know what kind of challenges this man faced in taking his buck. Congratulations to all the successful hunters. Have a happy and safe hunting season.
One of the biggest bucks taken in Pa, yet several of this size and much higher scoring, are taken every single year in neighboring ohio.
Pa hunting is a joke. A one in a million deer taken from a highly urban area of offlimits land doesnt change that fact.
Boot the damn environmentalist nuts out of our wildlife management agency and we wouldnt be the joke of the deer hunting nation, and bucks of this size wouldnt be a once in 75 year proposition.
Genessee County, New York, Matt Gober - The top 10 archery typical deer in NY list a 168-0 net score buck as #10. The net 160 bucks go down as far as #31. I don't think it will make the top ten of the NYS Big Buck Club entries!
