There is a spike buck mounted at our local Wal-Mart here in Mt.Sterling, KY with teeth like this, and its actually advertising somebody's taxidermy business.

a couple of these look like they were in storage with rats. then there were a couple that seem like they were made up to look like mad vampires. some weren't all that bad since I have seen a lot worse. I guess it is to each his own when it comes to how they want their mount to look ie the two does eating but it took me a while to figure out that the deer butt was a bottle opener!!

Most are really OLD mounts done on paper forms. In the day my husband used 'car paint' because that is all there was available to paint fish. We have been in business 38 years now.

I wouldn't even dignify some of these with the name "taxidermy", they look more like week-old road kill.

Those were hilarious. Don't believe all are unretouched - Number 18 has canine teeth 2 inches long - I bet it is photoshopped with a dog's mouth. Love the "hold my beer..." comment!!

I'm sure #7 was some kids first deer. My first was a spike and my parents always said they were going to mount it unfortunately it became a chew toy for the neighborhood dogs.

They're all pretty bad. Some of them are really bad. I can't help but wonder if some were done in jest, because I can't believe that someone would be proud to display them.

I LOVE the one with the teeth!!! Imagine seeing that look up at you while you're in a tree stand!
These really "pushed the envelope" of strange. A couple of them just looked ancient but most of them looked like they were not worthy of being mounted anyway. They were probably practice for someone trying to learn the trade.

Most of the deer hides were not properly treated by the taxidermist and as they age, they look horrible. Number eleven looks more like a kangaroo.

So that's what they are suppose to look like.

Maybe these were just ugly deer! Don't always blame the taxidermist!

Like docwells2000 said, I hope no one had to pay for these haha.
-A few of them look pretty old though, so they probably looked decent when they were first done.
