Feather Dusters

Feather Dusters

Photographer Jeff Coats captures the hits and misses of hunters. Look closely and you can even see the shot frozen in the picture.

Very skilled photography.
I feel a certain sadness - maybe too much information about exactly what happens at point of shot contact. Kind of like the hunting videos that slow play the death scenes over and over while rock or country music blares.
Seems to break the reverence I feel after the kill. Perhaps I am old fashion in my thinking.

Since when are you allowed to shoot hen pheasants??? In minneasota that is a big NO!
Where are the Goose shots, Those things can take a 3.5in 000 shell from a 12gauge and keep on flying. I was wondering is there a maximum for pellet size allowed for goose, if so what is it?

This is great photography work. It's pretty cool that somebody has the talent to capture some of this on film.

Some of those shots were bad shots. I don't mean the camera shots either.
