The Best (and Worst) New Fishing Gear
When the fishing tackle trade industry descended upon Las Vegas to introduce the hottest in new fishing gear, much of what we saw was awesome. But, eh, there was some other stuff that was, well, just a bit weird. Heres a look.

2. Smart Cull Manufacturer: Ardent Every serious tournament fishermen knows the pain of culling fish during the heat of battle. The Smart Cull eliminates all the guesswork by recording the exact weight of each fish on a lockable dial. Six independently colored balls and clips attach to fish. Weight is entered into the ball by simply depressing a push button and dialing in the desired weight. Releasing the button locks the weight in. Each ball can be adjusted up to 15 pounds 15 ounces. Is this a joke?! Or is this just sensible fishing rules slowly making its way into our life.
I think there is a bug or glitch here.

The zip vac is a great product. I use it quite often and its relatively inexpensive. Being in college it's always a bonus to find a convinient product like this. It pays for itself.
It's a shame the fishing industry can't get a few more successful, environmentally friendly products out there (both on here are misses). I commend Gulp for being 100% biodegradable! I'd hate to think how many miles of mono and tons of soft baits are on lake floors.
