Kentucky is known for two things: Derby and Bourbon. We've compiled a list of the best bourbons the state has to offer.

Pardon my mistake for saying whiskey while refering to a bourbon.

The Bulleit is number one in my book. Not only for the price but it, in my opinion, is smother than Crown as a sipping whiskey.

The most comprehensive evaluation of new compound bows anywhere.

Divine: I appreciate the clarification but you missed what I was stating, I am not taking away from these bows but I would just like to see a compairison on the cheaper model "new" bows to find out which one OL finds better. A bow kit in the $5-700 range. I am not cheap, just frugal and clueless.

When I read the description of the bow test talking about the economy and all, I figured there would be more bows in a more economical price range. Why not do a test on the the bow or bow packages in a more resonable price range. Looking to get in to bowhunting, but at these prices, I will stick with the old faithful firearm.

  • Albino Elk

Check out these amazing photographs of two big albino bull elk.

some things in nature should be left alone, some hunters may say that "if i dont take this animal then it would die naturally, and who would see that," well, thats how nature works, things live and die either by our hands or natures, what so wrong with nature takeing its course. I belive that this is one animal I would have to let nature take back, there is a fine traditional elk in the picture also to take for dinner.

  • Backcountry Grizzly Attack

On September 12, Ron Leming Jr. and his Dad survived a harrowing bowhunt for elk in Wyoming's backcountry. Instead of a trophy bull, the duo encountered a huge boar grizzly bear. What follows is the story and photos of that experience as told to OL Senior Editor Brian Lynn.

This was the most riviting story I have read in a long time. Great job on it and glad all is well.
