Many more people worldwide are severely injured and killed by poisonous insects than are bitten by poisonous snakes, chomped by sharks or crocodilians. Outdoorsmen should be wary of stinging insects, such as the ones listed here.
it seems like a bad thing but its nature, kill and be killed, live and let live, get over it, recently while walking to my dads doser i heard something bleat, i thought it was a baby calf i had just walked by and ignored it, a few minites later i looked around to see the biggest coyote i have ever seen in my life chasing about a 30lb fawn,(natrualy i was 3/4 mile from a gun) they ran about a 1/4 mile and into a small pond where the coyote caught him, the fawn escaped but then ran into and got thageld in a fence, the coyote literaly sat down and watched the fawn die...
At least according to Liz Krueger, New York City Democratic Senator. She's introduced legislation that would elevate the state's hunting age. Want specifics? Senate Bill 3598 increases the minimum age for obtaining a hunting license from 16 to 18 years of age, while requiring anyone under the age of 20 to be accompanied by a parent, guardian or relative.
As a young boy, I can remember a time when you could spend a solid week hunting the mountain country of southeastern Kentucky and only see a few measly does. In fact, just seeing a decent buck during those days was quite an accomplishment. That was close to 18 years ago and a lot has changed across the nation since those days. Currently, there are healthy populations of whitetail deer just about every where you look and things only seem to be getting better with each passing year. People need to stop and think about what really caused this dramatic change. Well, you can bet your bottom dollar that misinformed anti-hunting organizations like “In Defense of Animals” didn’t have anything to do with this unbelievable turn around! The so-called “facts” that groups like these release on their websites and news pamphlets are amazingly pathetic.
If there was ever any question about wolves being ruthless and indiscriminate killers, this week’s story out of Eastern Oregon will dispel any doubt you may have.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife have confirmed that wolves were responsible for killing nearly two dozen lambs on Curt Jacobs’ Baker City, Ore.-area ranch in separate attacks in recent weeks. The attacks were the first documented losses of livestock to wolves since the predators returned to the state in 1999.

Since Jan. 1, nearly 50 guns have been stolen in Beloit, Wisc., and police are busy trying to track down where many of them are and who took them. But investigators have a message for gun owners: take responsibility for your weapons.
