with the .223 there is always an army surplus meaning you can get them fairly cheap, they will also do considerable dammage, while the .22-250 is a lot hotter bullet it also has more wallop to it and will hold up farther, the shells are more expensivethe .223 would be the cheaper alternative and in the hands of an experienced marks man can be just as deadly as the .22-250

a peice of four inch pipe obout 5' long, stand it straight up and down, and cut 4 small, upside down V's around the bottom. drill holes in a couple places and wire a peice of 2'x 2' ply wood to it it should resemble a upside down T fill the pipe with feed and it will feed out automaticly
personaly i own a 62 stevens model but its chambered in .22 it is by far the most accurate and reliable gun i have ever shot

that would depend on what you have in mind, while doing our cabin we put in peeled cedar post for rails, & did all cabinets ourselves, lined the inside with cedar and cut our own trees and lumber for the job- if you can go into more specific detail of what you would like to do it would be a great help...

ya trapping is stil going in SE oklahoma, some do it for the pelts and sell them, & predator hunt-i mainly do it though around calf feeders when the coons start digging out alot of feed, or somthin gets in the chickens...
